Kenneth Edward Peterson, age 89, of Greenbush, died on Friday, January 8, 2016, at Marie Steiner Kelting Hospice Home in Chaska, Minn.
    Celebration of Life is on Saturday, January 16, 2016, 11:00 a.m., with time of sharing starting at 9:00 a.m., all at Hope Lutheran Church, 201 Hope Ave., Jordan, Minn.  Reverend Steve Thompson will be celebrating Ken’s life.   Inurnment will be at 3:00 p.m., at St John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Chaska.
Ken was born on January 7, 1927, in Barto Township, Minn., to Manfred and Blonden (Troskey) Peterson.  He was one of two children.
Preceding him in death were spouses; Challotta Goodrich and Adelaide Olstad, and sister; Kathleen Pedersen.
   Survivors include his sons: Leslie Peterson of Carver and his children – Ronni and Troy; Mitchell Peterson of Strathcona, Minn., and his son, Carl; Kerry (Kathy) Peterson of Carver and their children, Kyle and Kraig; daughters: Laurie (Wes) Herman of Jordan and their children – Rachelle, Lindzey and Heath; Carolynn (Tom) Funk of Victoria and their children – Torey, Mandy, Whitney, Jonathan and William; Nancy (Troy) Kasprowicz of Roseau and their children – Bradley, Devin, Adam and Nick; step-children: John (Beth) Lillevold of Yankton, S.D.; Grant (Kathy) Lillevold of St James, Minn.; Paul (Dawn) Lillevold of Ormsby, Minn.,; Dale (Janet) Lillevold of Wayzata; many great grandchildren, relatives and friends.
Funeral arrangements are with the Bertas Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Chaska, Minn.
