Bids/ROSEAU RIVER WATERSHED (0330)

The Board of Managers of the Roseau River Watershed District will receive bids at the office of the Roseau River Watershed District, 108 3rd Ave SW, Roseau, MN 56751 until 1:00 pm on APRIL 1, 2016 for the construction of the Roseau River Wildlife Area Pool 3 Outlet Project. 
The center of the Project is located approximately 24 miles west, 7 miles north of the City of Roseau, MN; or 7 miles east, 1 mile south of the town of Caribou, MN. The project consists of Excavation, Embankment, Aggregate Surfacing, Construction of Cast-in-Place Concrete Control Structures, Culvert Placement, Erosion Control, Random Riprap, Clearing and Grubbing, and Seeding. The proposed work includes, but is not limited to, the following:

220,341 CY Common Excavation
25,503 CY Common Excavation Hauling
70,126 CY Common Borrow – Embankment
11,048 TON Aggregate Surfacing, Class 5 Modified
2,465 CY Random Riprap
2 EA Cast-In-Place Concrete Structures 
( w/ 162 LF of 12’x6’ RCB)
792 LF 96” Dia. CAS Pipe Culvert
86 ACRE Turf Establishment

Bids will be received for the entire scope of work as one job. Bid forms are furnished with the Specifications and all bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope marked:  Bids for Construction of the Roseau River Wildlife Area Pool 3 Outlet; and accompanied by a certified check or bidder’s bond for not less than 10% of the amount of the bid as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and furnish Performance and Payment bonds as required by law.
At the time and place specified, the bids will be publicly opened and read at the office of the Board of Managers. The job will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, subject to the requirements that performance and payment bonds be furnished to the District in the amount of 100% of the contract price. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to make the award in the best interest of the District. Plans, Specifications, and Addendum 1 can be obtained through the Quest Construction Data Network (QuestCDN.com) with the QuestCDN eBidDoc number 4262266. No bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
