Private First Class Cole Scott Dickman, 19
Private First Class Cole Scott Dickman age 19 of East Grand Forks, MN passed away on Tuesday, May 10th, 2016.
Cole was born on October 10, 1996 in Grand Forks, ND, the son of Scott and Kim (Teigland) Dickman. Cole grew up and attended school in East Grand Forks and graduated from East Grand Forks Senior High School with the Class of 2015.
Cole joined the United States Marine Corps on February 1, 2016 and graduated from MCRD on April 29, 2016. He was part of the 2nd Battalion, Golf Company, Platoon 2153 in San Diego, CA. He was very proud to have graduated with expert marksmanship. While home on leave he spent time mentoring Marine poolee.
Cole enjoyed playing football, playing video games with his friends, hunting and spending time with his family. Most of all Cole was very proud to be an Uncle and loved spending time with his nephews.
Loving family members of Cole include his parents of East Grand Forks; Sister Samantha (fiancé Shaun Bestland) Hurt; Nephews Ryder and Rayce Bestland of Moorhead, MN. Grandmother Irene Teigland of East Grand Forks; Grandparents, Stan “Tanny” and Jeanne Dickman of Grand Forks; Great Grandma Ella Flaten of Portland, ND. Cole is also survived by numerous Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, and Friends. Cole is preceded in death by his grandfather Ronnie Teigland.
Cole will continue to touch many lives through his Organ & Tissue Donation.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the SemperFi Fund in the honor of Cole.
Memorial Service: 10:30 AM on Monday, May 16, 2016 in Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 1515 5th Ave. NW, East Grand Forks, MN.
Visitation: 2:00 – 4:00 with a 3:30 PM Prayer Service on Sunday, May 15, 2016 in Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 1515 5th Ave. NW, East Grand Forks, MN and also one hour prior Funeral Service on Monday.
Inurnment: Bethany North Cemetery ~ East Grand Forks, MN.
