Terence John Novacek, the son of the late Anton and Viola (Johnson) Novacek, was born on Dec. 14, 1958, at Greenbush, MN. He attended school and grew to manhood in Greenbush and graduated from Greenbush High School in 1977. Terry worked for Wicklund Construction at Greenbush for several years, then for Marvin Windows at Warroad. He worked for Polaris Industries at Roseau for ten years before poor health forced his retirement. He had been a member of the Greenbush Fire Dept. for several years and he loved the outdoors, especially 4-wheeling, snowmobiling and hunting. In 2005, Terry moved to Karlstad and since Feb. of 2011, has resided at the LifeCare Greenbush Manor where he passed away on Wed. evening, June 8, 2016, at the age of 57 years, 5 months and 24 days.
He is survived by one brother: Michael (Mary) Novacek, of Apple Vally, MN; two sisters; (twins) Pam (Mark) Agre and Paula (Gary) Johnson, both of Karlstad; his cat: Nala; his caregivers at LifeCare Greenbush Manor; in addition to several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents and one brother: Mitch.
