A Graveside service for Scotty Fish of Roosevelt, MN will be held on Saturday, July 9th 2016 at 10:00AM at America Cemetery south of Warroad, MN. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 8th 2016 from 6-8PM at Helgeson Funeral Home in Warroad, MN.
Scotty passed away on June 29, 2016 at the age of 56.
Scotty Dean Fish was born Jan. 5, 1960 to Guy Fish and Marjorie (Muirhead) Fish in Aberdeen, Washington. He lived most of his life in Roosevelt, MN; where they had a cattle and crop production farm during his childhood. Scotty graduated from Warroad High school in 1978. He attended TRF AVTI in Electronic Technology and graduated in 1982. Scotty worked as a QC Inspector in nuclear power plants around the country.
He loved logging and playing in his “sandbox” in Pine River, MN with his countless heavy equipment. He traveled all around with his Miniature Pinscher “Willie” as his sidekick. Scotty was a big animal lover, and compassionate to those less fortunate. Scotty was naturally gifted with all things electrical and mechanical, and he loved to hammer out rings from silver quarters and dimes as a past time.
Scotty is survived by his father Guy Fish of Roosevelt, two sons, Daniel Fish (Brittany) of Williams, MN and Terrance Fish of Fargo, ND; grandson, Oliver Fish; brothers, Rocky Fish of Roosevelt, MN, Tim Fish (Emily) of Williams, MN; sisters, Pam Cole (Byron) of Warroad, MN, and Pennie Newgard (Jerry) of Pequot Lakes, MN, many nieces and nephews, and countless cousins from Williams and Baudette who he enjoyed spending time with.
He is preceded in death by his mother who he loved, Marjorie Fish of Roosevelt MN, and nephew Brad Cole of Warroad, MN.
