EGF PD advises no travel in city
Winter hit East Grand Forks last night as the first storm of the season dropped 10.5 inches of snow. Blizzard conditions persist in the Red River Valley and at 10:00 am The East Grand Forks Police Department sent out a press release advising no travel.
The National Weather Service in Grand Forks. expects winds of 30 to 50 mph to move into area around noon. A blizzard warning will be in effect until 6 p.m. Tuesday, with the potential to linger late into the night.
The storm is expected to drop a range of 13 to 18 inches in the northern Red River Valley.
