Flood warnings along Two Rivers, Red River

Drivers and area residents are urged to use caution as spring flooding occurs along Two Rivers and the Red River.

Flood warnings are still in effect by the National Weather Service (NWS) for both rivers.

Walhalla and Neche remained areas of concern along the Pembina River, where a second crest was expected as early as Thursday and into the weekend.

The flood warning for Pembina at the Red River continues until further notice. The warning at Drayton was extended through Wednesday, April 12.

Drivers are warned to “turn around, don’t drown,” when encountering flooded roads.
