Lila Anderson, 84, of Greenbush, died on Friday, June 30, 2017 in LifeCare Roseau Manor in Roseau, MN. Lila Anderson was born Lila Elizabeth Lorenson, the daughter of Rasmus William & Esther (Strandberg) Lorenson, on August 17, 1932 in Huss Township, Roseau County, rural Strathcona, MN. She grew up there and attended the Sunnyside Country School to the eighth grade. She married Kennis Anderson on October 21, 1950. They lived at Greenbush, MN. She worked at Arctic Cat in Thief River Falls and Karlstad for about 5 years and she raised a large family. Besides family, she enjoyed painting, riding horse, photography and sewing. She was an active member of Bethel Lutheran Church of Greenbush. She is survived by Husband—Kennis. Children: VerJean (Robert) Streeter of Lino Lakes, MN. Eleen Barrett of Roseau, MN, Jeff (Julie) Anderson of Greenbush, Laurie (Ian) Hart of Greenbush, Karalyn Anderson of Greenbush, Bruce (Carol) Anderson of Greenbush, Bradley (Lynnette) Anderson of Windom, MN and Becky (David) Lorenson of Greenbush. 17 Grandchildren and 27 Great-grandchildren. Son-in-law—Merlyn Lindemoen of Newfolden, MN. Brother: Eldor (Charmaine) Lorenson of Greenbush. Sisters-in-law—Deloris Lorenson of Greenbush & Adrian Pietig of Minneapolis, Brothers-in-law—Virgil Anderson of Minneapolis & Cassel (Gloria) Anderson of Minneapolis. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Daughter—Terri Lindemoen, Grandchildren—Michelle Swanson, J.R. Cummings & Baby Boy Kennis Lindemoen. Brothers—Clifford (Dorothy), Edward (Violet), Melvin (Jane), & Randy Lorenson; Sisters—Lillian (Edward Vacura & Melvin) Koehnlein and Delores (Edwin) Stromlund. Funeral Services were held on Friday, July 7 at 11 AM in Bethel Lutheran Church of Greenbush with Pastor Mark Mathews, officiating. Vocal music was by Merle Lorenson & Judy Bergsnev, with Linda Sovde, organist. Readers were Bradley Anderson and Laurie Hart. The Casket Bearers were grandsons: Chris, Kendall & Ben Anderson, Eric Lindemoen, Jason Barrett & Rhett Cummings. Burial was in the Lorenson Family Cemetery, rural Strathcona.
