Tessany Blazek is no stranger to the Pitch, Hit and Run competition at Target Field, the home of the Minnesota Twins. In fact, on June 17, 2017, she made the south-bound trip for the third time.

The first step in competition for Tessany began at the local level hosted by Kent Christian and the Gator softball team. Next came the regional contest in Bemidji, Minn.

The scores from all the regional competitions are then compared and the three highest scores in the tri-state area advance to Target Field.

“It’s been really fun,” Tessany remarked.  “It’s cool that you get to play at Target Field!”

Tessany’s cheering section includes her parents, Dave and Lynette Blazek of Greenbush, brother Cole, and grandparents Don and Phyllis Blazek of Middle River, and Marlo and Paulette Nelson of Greenbush.  She will be a GMR seventh grader this fall.
