Anne P. Kasprick, 90, of Angus, MN passed away Friday, July 21, 2017 at Valley Eldercare Center in Grand Forks.
Anne Bujnovsky was born July 27, 1926 at home, near Tabor, MN, the daughter of Michael and Mary (Hudacko) Bujnovsky. She attended country school in Northland Township and graduated from Alvarado High School. Following her graduation, she was employed at The Ryan Hotel in Grand Forks. She met Harold Kasprick at a dance and they married September 21, 1948 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Tabor. Together, they had eight children and lived and farmed near Angus, MN. She was a life time member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, where she was baptized and confirmed. She was a charter member of St. Ludmilla Court # 266 of the National Catholic Society of Foresters in Tabor, and was active in Holy Trinity Altar Society. Harold preceded her in death on September 24, 1984.
She enjoyed being a member of the Angus Homemakers, and assisting the Angus 4-H club. Anne’s homemade poppy seed and prune kolaches were favorite treats of her family and friends. She was also wonderful at baking apple pies, caramel rolls, buns, lefse, and many other delicious specialties. In addition to strawberries and raspberries, she grew a large vegetable garden. She canned fruits and vegetables and supplied pickles for funerals at church.
She is survived by her sons, Wendell (Donna), Silver City, IA and Duane (Kathy), Brooklyn Park, MN; her daughters, Cheryl (Roger) Weller, Belgrade, MN, Marlys Kasprick, Grand Forks, ND, Patty (Ron) Vasek, Angus, MN, Michelle Kasprick, Crookston, MN, and Jennifer (Joe) Kovar, Grand Forks, ND; sisters, Clara Riske, Chanhassen, MN, Cecelia Novacek, rural East Grand Forks, MN, and Elsie (Dwight) Keller, Mapleton, ND; a sister-in-law, Doris Bujnovsky, Grand Forks, ND; 8 grandsons; 15 granddaughters and 29 (+2) great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Harold, her infant daughter Janice Marie; her brothers Joseph Bujnovsky and Emil Bujnovsky; brothers-in-law Louis Riske and Dennis Novacek.
Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 24, 2017 in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Tabor, MN.
Visitation: 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday with a 2:30 p.m. rosary service and 5:00 p.m. vigil service in the Historic Norman Funeral Home-Gregory J. Norman Funeral Chapel. Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the liturgy in the church on Monday.
Burial: Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery, Tabor, MN.
