New commissioners on Kittson County Board
The Kittson County Board of Commissioners held its first meeting of 2019 on January 8 with two new commissioners in office: Loren Younggren for District 3 and Darrel Johnson for District 5.
The two had been sworn in the day before during a special swearing in ceremony for county elected offices, which included new Kittson County Sheriff Mark Wilwant and County Attorney Robert Albrecht.
Leon Olson was voted Chairman of the Board of Commissioners for the new year; Theresia Gillie was voted Vice Chair.
