Terry Hofland, age 69, of East Grand Forks, MN passed away suddenly, Thursday October 24, 2019 at Altru Hospital of Grand Forks, ND.
Terry Stanley Hofland was born July 19, 1950 in Grand Forks, to the late Stanley and Lucille (Schimek) Hofland. He was raised in East Grand Forks and graduated from EGF Senior High in 1969. He was united in marriage to Lynette Boushey on June 19, 1971 at Sacred Heart Church of East Grand Forks. He retired as a foreman from Simonson’s Lumber of Grand Forks in 2015. Terry enjoyed riding his motorcycles, going to Sturgis with his brother, and hunting with his buddies. He always enjoyed entertaining his nieces, nephews, and all his family during the holidays.
Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Lynette Hofland of East Grand Forks, daughter Toni Hanson of Apache Junction, AZ; sisters Claudia (Earl) Jensen of Roseburg, OR, Nancy Bushaw of East Grand Forks, Theresa (Richard) Macho, of Northwood, ND; brother Tom (Lori) Hofland of East Grand Forks; and many, many, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Lucille, sisters Carol Fruehling, Nadine DeLeon, Tammi Hofland, and infant brother Neil Hofland.
