Robert Glen Kvien, 82

Robert G. Kvien passed away June 2, 2021 at the Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND, surrounded by his loving family.

Robert Glen Kvien was born on October 9, 1938, in a log home in Pinecreek, MN to Myrtle (Heskin) and Olaf E. Kvien.  He attended school in Pinecreek.  He and Lorraine (Wiskow) were married on July 12, 1958 in Greenbush, MN.  At a young age Robert worked in the woods at Northwest Angle with his dad skidding pulp.  He was a heavy equipment operator, employee at Texaco, Northstar, K & S Sports Center part owner and a diesel mechanic at Roseau Diesel.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, working on projects, his church, listening to country music and engineering various projects.

He will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather and friend to all he met.  He had an amazing ability to fix anything. He was kind, compassionate and giving of his many talents.  Blessed be his memory.

He is survived by his wife, Lorraine of Roseau; children, Pamela (Danny) Howell of Badger, Randy (Sue) of Roseau, Rick (Pauline) of Owatonna, MN and Paula (Rob) Wokasch of Roseau; grandchildren, Talysia, Justin, Kylee and Nathan, Step-grandchildren, Troy, Tony, Trevor and Heather; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Briggs and Easton. Step-great-grandchildren,  Halle, Brendon, Beck, Boden, Story, Lena, and Kinni. Siblings, Mary Storo, Sally (Gordon) Erickson and Jackie (Karolyn) Kvien.  He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Marilyn, Donald, Caroline and Audrey.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Helgeson Funeral Home in Roseau.  Visitation will be one hour prior.  Interment will be at Hope Cemetery with a reception/picnic to follow at the Roseau City Park.  Online guest book at: www.helgesonfuneralhome.com
