Eunice Hams, 91

Eunice Hams of Red Lake Falls, MN passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021 at her home in Red Lake Falls, MN surrounded by her loving family. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church in Red Lake Falls, MN with Reverend Gary Graff and Reverend Mary Lundquist Officiating. Burial will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery at Red Lake Falls, MN. Eunice Cecilia Hams was born December 13, 1929 daughter of Magnus and Lydia (Olson) Lundquist at Roseau County, MN. She attended rural school near Karlstad and attended Karlstad High School. Eunice Lundquist was united in marriage to Russel Hams on November 7, 1946 at Halma, MN. The couple moved to Red Lake Falls, MN in 1964. Eunice worked at the various jobs in Red Lake Falls where she raised her 10 children. Eunice enjoyed watching her kids and grandkids sports, watching UND Hockey she loved to open her home especially to children. She made sure the coffee pot was always on and was always ready to listen. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor. Eunice is survived by 10 children: Loren (Judy) Hams, of Hoffman, MN, Barbara (Darrell) Martell, of Red Lake Falls, MN, Leon (Deb) Hams, of Grand Forks, ND, Steve (Maureen) Hams, of Red Lake Falls, MN, Tim (Teresa) Hams, of Red Lake Falls, MN, Terry (Hope) Hams, of Montgomery, AL, Scott Hams of Red Lake Falls, MN, Liza (Wade) Cardinal, of Red Lake Falls, MN, foster daughter Rose (Larry) Eckstein, of Red Lake Falls, MN, daughter-in-law Judy Hams of Thief River Falls MN; 24 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. Eunice was preceded in death by her husband Russel 2012, son Mitch Hams, parents, one grandson Christopher Martell, great-grandson Austin Martell; and daughter-in-law Jan Hams, brothers Oscar, Rueben, Milton, Kenneth, Donald and two half-brothers Clifford and Martin; sister Luella Ames and Ruth Swenson and several nieces and nephews.
