Gator Clay Busters compete at state

Senior Gator Clay Buster Dawson Beito represented his school program in the individual portion of the MSHSL Clay Target State Tournament in Prior Lake on June 25.

On June 25 in Prior Lake, Minn., the Gator Clay Busters competed as a team in the MSHSL State Tournament. It was a tough first session of shooting with the Gators ending in thirty-ninth place out of 40 teams with a score of 214 out of 250 targets. After the second session of shooting, the team ended in thirty-fifth place with a final score of 440 out of 500 targets. The Gators’ individual scores from this team event are below.

After the team tournament, the individual tournament started. Gator Clay Buster Dawson Beito shot a score of 97 out of 100 targets and tied for fourteenth place out of 100 shooters.
